First up, is a short fun Reenactment Video (see above) from 1973 to 2023, followed below are comments made by classmates and teachers, mostly via messaging, emails, cards and texting to let others know how our celebration went. The colors below match their color coded badges, representing which of the nine 8th Grade/jrH schools they attended. Teachers had Black/White badges.

10/03/23 02:07 PM First let me say thank you to you and your team for putting on such a wonderful and successful event. I am so glad I came. I found that the people that I had spent my youth with were really something special. Monday morning when I woke and realized it was over I felt a little pang of regret. In my life there has been and will continue to be many Christmases, Thanksgivings, birthdays and such, but only one 50th Class Reunion. James Hochgesang | 10/05/23 03:33 PM It was a fun event. I really enjoyed connecting with my grade school friends. The event sites were great for Friday and Saturday night. Friday night was a little easier to visit as we were more spread out and chatting was easier. The smaller room on Saturday made it a little harder to communicate due to all the conversations going on. Food was excellent at both venues. It was nice you were able to get LPHS kids to help with checking in and getting us through the food lines. I’m sure they enjoyed it as well. Thanks for an event well put together! It was a lot of work, but you really pulled it off. I enjoyed the school tour. That brought back so many memories, some good, some great. 11/2/23 After not having attended any other reunion I went to the 50th and glad I did. It brought back so many memories! 9/30/23 Thank you again for everything you did to help bring all of us together, the venue tonight was outstanding, everything about it was second-to-none. We enjoyed so much everything we did today. The Zoom call on Saturday night was an added attraction. I'm not sure it worked exactly as you wished it to, but I was so happy to see my old colleague, Ron Blauwkamp. We are now planning another private call tomorrow night. It will be such fun to catch up after quite a few years. My husband Ron and I and the Blauwkamps were good friends, so we will enjoy the time together.
